Malaysia's widowed prime minister to wed

KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (AFP): Malaysia's widowed prime minister will marry on Saturday, his office said Wednesday.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (67) will marry Jeanne Abdullah, 53, according to a statement posted on the prime minister's website.

The ceremony will take place at the prime minister's official residence, attended only by close family, the statement said.

Jeanne Abdullah is a former manager of the prime minister's residential complex, it said.
