Mandatory training for teachers

A large number of teachers in our educational institutions are not tech-savvy and are unaware of modern tech-oriented methods. On the other hand, our young teachers are tech-savvy but inexperienced in teaching. The communication gap between the senior and junior teachers has prevented them from sharing knowledge and skills to bridge the gap and achieve progress within the different educational departments.

The authorities concerned should introduce mandatory internships and training courses for teachers to reform their skills and learn new teaching methodologies. Otherwise, an influx of inexperienced teachers will threaten the futures of millions of students.Also, senior, and junior teachers should be encouraged to interact with each other through seminars and workshops in which they can exchange knowledge and experiences with one another. This will improve our schools and colleges, and ensure that students receive the best form of education through highly skilled and knowledgeable teachers.
