Mashrafee: New ODI captain

We are glad to know that Mashrafee, who is known as Narail Express, has been appointed as the new captain of one-day cricket team of Bangladesh. Mashrafee will get Shakib's able support as a vice-captain. We are now eagerly waiting for Shakib's return to international cricket and it will be interesting to see the new captain Mashrafee. I am sure Mashrafee will prove to be an able captain in one-day matches.  

As caption, this will be the second stint for Mashrafee. He captained his side in one test and seven one-day internationals during 2009-2010. Now Mashrafee is more mature and we hope this time he will be able to inspire his team which has been going through a bad patch fo0r quite sometime. Mashrafee is considered one of the finest fast bowlers Bangladesh ever produced.

His career has been hampered by injuries many times. He was not always able to give his 100 per cent due to frequent injuries. He has played so far 36 test matches and 131 ODI. Mashrafee was first selected for the national team in 2004 and since then he is an asset of the Bangladesh national cricket team.
