Messi's Argentina have finally reached the final of the World Cup football which is being held on the soil of their arch rival Brazil. A golden opportunity for Argentine superstar Messi is lying ahead to prove what he is today. He can turn himself into a soccer legend like Maradona who had won the World Cup for his country with his mesmerising skill.
Maradona's Argentina had beat in final the same opponent Germany by 3-2 in 1986. It was then a glorious moment of football as the determination of one man was enough to win a coveted trophy like the World Cup. The man was none other than living legend Diego Maradona.
Earlier, Maradona had expressed his disappointment over the unimpressive form of Argentina but I am sure now he too will be proud of his team's achievement. No European team has ever won a World Cup on Latin American soil. So it will be interesting to see if the determined Germans can break the jinx. Most of the Bangladeshis either support Brazil or Argentina and Messi has a huge fan in our country.
