Miscellaneous thoughts

Every day early in the morning, I try to visit a few newspapers from the website. I cannot reach some dailies in the first go; I have to fill up some words and numbers to get access to them. This is cumbersome and annoying.

I convey my gratitude to the journalists who bring to us the updates despite their lives being in risk in many cases. The verdict of Biswajit Murder case is a big thing but the Sagor-Runi murder case is yet to be taken up in real earnest.  

From the media we also have known the amount of wealth of ministers and MPs amassed while in power. People have a right to know the amount of assets of the political leaders of the country.

Last but not least, it is a matter of regret that there is no democratic practice either in the Awami League or the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
