Mominul a better batsman than Test captain

We all know that Mominul Haque is a talented batsman, but his captaincy is making us forget that. I believe it will be better for both Bangladesh Test cricket and Mominul if he steps down and concentrates on his batting. He could contribute far more as a batsman without the pressure of the captaincy. It is clear that his batting has taken a hit since he has become the captain of the national Test team. His career average, which is above 40, goes below 35 when he is captaining the side. More alarmingly, his average in the six Test matches played in this cycle of the ICC World Test Championship has dropped to 15 with only one 50-plus score.
We need a captain who has good leading traits. Mominul's body language on the field seems anything but confident. During the first Test match against South Africa when the inconsistent umpiring decisions were holding Bangladesh back, one would normally expect the captain to push the umpires and take more reviews. But, he was nowhere seen doing his job properly. The way he is leading our Test side is too risk-free to win matches on regular occasions. In the meantime, we are losing a promising Test batsman like Mominul.
