Nation wants Tigers to roar

The Tigers face Scotland tomorrow (March 5) and it will be a very important match for them. Usually, the record of Bangladesh against the associate members of the International Cricket Council is poor, but I hope they will play their best against Scotland and must not be complacent.

The whole world is eagerly watching the ongoing World Cup cricket and there is no dearth of excitement. Apart from winning against Scotland, the Tigers have to win against big guns like New Zealand or England to make sure they are playing in the quarter-final.

The World Cup cricket comes after every four years and it is one of the most anticipated sports tournaments of the world. Cricket is very popular in our subcontinent and its popularity is increasing with each passing day.

I feel, more and more countries should be added to the cricket tournaments so the competition as popularity of cricket is on the rise. Cricket in our country has taken the most popular game spot tag from football. I hope, the Tigers will bring some success from this ongoing world cup and make cricket more popular among the young people of our country.
