Need for easier Indian visa

Every year, thousands of Bangladeshis visit India on different purposes  like, medical treatment, study, business and tourism. Bangladeshis rank second among visitors to India from all over the world. The Indian authority should make the travel visa for Bangladeshis easier, as obtaining an Indian visa is becoming increasingly difficult. The authority can think of issuing  five-year multiple visa so that one does not have to apply for an Indian visa every time he/she wants to visit.

 Bangladesh and India share excellent bilateral relations and easier visa will bolster the existing relations between the governments and the people. India should also make the system easier so that the number of visitors increases. The existing E- token system is too cumbersome and I have been trying to get an E-token for the last 3 or 4 days without success which is extremely frustrating. Tourism in the world is fast expanding and it is in our mutual interest India and Bangladesh should facilitate the process. We should help the rising number of tourists of both countries as a mark of respect for the rapidly growing relationship between the countries. We are two closest neighbours and both of us should make ways to further cement the relationship. Tourism is an attractive sector which can generate income and employment of many young people and help change the economy for the better.
