Nepal refugee camp fire leaves 4,000 homeless

KATHMANDU, Mar 22: More than 4,000 refugees from Bhutan were left homeless after a fire swept through a United Nations camp in Nepal on Tuesday, local officials said. About 700 of the 800 huts at the Goldhap refugee camp, located 500 kilometres (300 miles) southeast of the capital Kathmandu, were destroyed, chief district officer Shashi Shekhar Shrestha told AFP.
