The education ministry's decision not to take examinations up to grade III will be implemented from 2021. This is a good step, which, we believe, will remove burden from kids and ensure learning with joy. In recent times, their childhood have been burdened with many exams that are making them tired at an early age. Freeing them from exams would create scope for their orientation with society and cultural activities. They may work on projects if they like. The abolition of the exams may also help the teachers to focus on building moral character through a variety of ways. However, the teachers should sit with parents and guardians of children to discuss their progress and make interventions whenever necessary. It's time to improve our education system and make it suitable for the 21st century's world.
