NSTU needs more buses

The authorities of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have introduced transportation facilities for students to ease their commute to and from the campus. This initiative was meant to benefit ordinary students, many of whom live in hostels, messes, or rented houses in the city due to the university's accommodation constraints. Every day, thousands of students depend on buses to travel to campus and to move around the city for tuition and other essential purposes.
Unfortunately, the number of buses is far from adequate to serve over 7,000 students. With a new academic year beginning, the pressure on the already limited transport fleet has increased further. Many students are now struggling to secure a place on the buses and are even forced to board them dangerously while still in motion, putting their lives at risk. The condition of the buses is also a matter of concern, as some are unfit for service yet continue to operate, raising the threat of accidents.
In these circumstances, I humbly urge the university administration to immediately expand the number of buses and ensure they are equipped with modern facilities to meet students' needs. At the same time, students must also act responsibly and avoid taking unnecessary risks while boarding the buses.
