Our leaders and their relationship with people

July 27, 2015 00:00:00

What is the relationship between the leaders and workers in the capitalist society? What is the basis of such relationship? Why the disparity between the rich and the poor is increasing day by day?

We should try and find out the causes of the problem and the solution thereof. Since we come from a capitalist society, our relationship is based on capital. And the relationship between our business leaders and their employees are not excluded. Underpayment for workers and earning more profit appears to be the sole objective of the leaders and most of the times it reaches an inhuman level. It is clear from the relationship between the garments owners and their workers. For those who are being exploited, the situation is getting worse, although it was not to be. As a result, we see that in 2011 most of the workers of the USA took to the streets and chanted the slogan, "1.0 per cent of the property to 99.0 per cent." And this slogan is familiar to us as we are the 99.0 per cent. This is the inevitable result of a capitalist society.

The solution to this disparity depends on the need to change the thinking of the leaders, so that they are obliged to pay their employees adequately. It will be only possible when the business leaders and their staff will be responsible to each other for their activities. This is not unprecedented in history. We know, Hazrat Omar(R), the leader and his people were responsible to each other and he never exploited his people because the relationship between the leader and his people was not based on capital.
