Pay raise for private sector employees

According to reports, government employees will get a 10 per cent increment on their basic salary from July this year. But nothing is said about any pay raise in the private sector. Amid the prevailing inflation, private sector employees are finding it hard to make both ends meet. Most private sector employees do not get lunch or transport facilities from their office. And many of them start their career with low salaries as there is not enough opportunity for government jobs.

This is an alarming situation. And the authorities concerned should take immediate action so that private sector employees are not deprived and get at least a yearly pay raise.
