Paying teachers their dues

Teachers are people who teach us what is right and what is wrong. They help us solve our problems. Teachers are sometimes considered as our second parents. But in return, they are neither acknowledged nor appreciated for their efforts and hard work. Yet they continue to strive hard, barely being able to afford basic necessities for their families.

It is unfortunate that teachers in our country still have to take to the streetsto get their dues. As builders of the nation, they do not deserve to join the hunger strike for getting monthly pay order (MPO) facilities. Therefore, we urge the authorities concerned to look into this matter urgently and meet their demand as soon as possible. How can we accept that it is them who now need the inspiration to continue teaching in such difficult times?
