PM\\\'s security and a fanciful thought

The other day I was having a walk with my wife along the Crescent Lake in the capital. It was afternoon. Lots of families and people in groups were there walking leisurely, sitting, chatting and enjoying the tranquil beauty of the Crescent Lake, and its surrounding.
Suddenly on-duty policemen interrupted the visitors from entering the lake area through both the entry points and forced people sitting on the stairs of the lake or walking on the pavement to enter the lake garden. That was really embarrassing for all. An elderly lady, who was accompanied by her grandchildren, refused to walk to the other side by walking across the bridge. But there was no way out. I asked one policeman about the reason. "The Prime Minister will pass through the area," the reply came from him. Then, of course, it made sense! It was for security reason.
But I was thinking about something else. How about if the PM sometimes stops by the lakeside for a while, and greets the families sitting over there as a surprise, the way she has surprised the plane passengers? Now imagine, a family sitting on the stairs of Crescent Lake suddenly notices that the PM is walking towards them with a smile to say "Hello!" How nice it would be then! But the reality is, they are being forced to leave the area in the name of security, when the prime minister moves through it. Well, let's hope, one day this fanciful thought will turn into reality.
