JERUSALEM, Oct 11 (AFP): Fraud squad officers were to grill Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for a second time Thursday over his alleged abuse of influence in the privatisation of one of the country's leading banks.
Investigators arrived at Olmert's official Jerusalem residence shortly after 9:00 am (0700 GMT) and were scheduled to start questioning him under caution an hour later, force spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP.
Questioning someone under caution means that anything he says could be used against him in court if charges are pressed.
Officers already grilled Olmert for more than five hours Tuesday over his alleged abuse of influence in the privatisation of Bank Leumi, Israel's second largest bank, two years ago.
