Pollution of plastic

Despite occasional awareness about harmful effects of rampant use of plastic materials, we often see their dumping in open space polluting our environment. Poor boys and girls are seen collecting plastic bottles, bags, and other packaging materials from streets and roadside areas. These are smashed and recycled by factories. Unfortunately, people are not showing responsibility in using and dumping plastic goods. They can buy reusable jute-made bags available but they don't do so in most cases. Instead, some other uses of plastic materials are damaging natural environment at and around home. Millions of plastic packets of food items and cosmetic products remain untreated. We are yet to properly understand that this problem may turn into a disaster unless we take urgent steps to address the situation.
