Promoting research

Research plays a crucial role in the development of any country. However, in Bangladesh, little support or service is available for research students. Research enables a researcher to identify new areas for development and suggest remedial measures for improvement. Many countries today are competing with one another in the global market because of their technological development. However, we are still lagging in many basic research fields and struggling with different issues.

To support research students, local organisations or multi-national companies should partner with universities to hire interns for research and provide financial support for research projects. If those organisations are profit-driven; it will allow them to expand operations in emerging fields. Also, it will help our research students to adhere to their passion.
