Protect sanctity of Ramadan

The blessed month of Ramadan is currently underway. This month holds immense significance as a period of moderation and self-purification. During Ramadan, individuals engage in heightened religious activities and worship compared to other months, reflecting the devotion of Muslims across our country.

This month is revered as a time of mercy, forgiveness, and salvation, as decreed by Almighty Allah. The special significance of Ramadan lies in surrendering oneself to Allah, leading a disciplined and devout life through acts such as timely prayers, fasting, and recitation of the Holy Qur'an. Additionally, Ramadan emphasises the importance of extending assistance to the poor and vulnerable, embodying the true essence of this holy month.

Our actions in this month are rewarded by Allah, and it is incumbent upon us to protect the sanctity of Ramadan by fully immersing ourselves in worship and spiritual reflection.

Let us all strive to maintain the sanctity of Ramadan by engaging in regular worship and extending a helping hand to those less fortunate, beg mercy of Allah and thus enrich our spiritual journey during this blessed time.
