Public transports

November 26, 2014 00:00:00

Enormous noise continues to be made by road transport. Surprisingly, a huge number of automobiles are running in the country, which do not possess fitness certificate, road-tax receipt and other necessary documents. This is why this job needs to be done under direct or indirect control-cum-supervision of the concerned minister. In these days of information technology, all vehicles must have registration numbers displayed on the vehicle front and back and a data sheet relevant to the vehicles can be checked using technology now used in income tax, stock market investors' BO, ID numbers totalling four millions etc.

Regular protests, demonstrations continue against easy bike, Nasimon, Karimon, shallow pump vehicles etc. though these vehicles are used by millions as cheaper mode of transport. Considering all the needs of the general public and probable hardships during checking, a policy needs to be formulated so that fitness of vehicles can be verified anywhere and everywhere where IT facilities like internet are available. Highways may be restricted to Nasimon-Karimon. But there must be alternative ways and means for easy bikes in the interest of general public. Let us plan digitally!
