Rain at last!

The rain has come at the right time and, therefore, as a blessing. When temperature was heating up unusually and the trees and paddy fields needed a relief from a dry and hostile environment after the winter, the much cherished water from above descended on them like heavenly grace. Suddenly, the bare and lifeless trees have become lively with their leaves washed off the dust collected on them. The young leaves tossing in the winds are a sight to behold!

Apart from the aesthetic value of the greenery, the practical consideration is of far greater import. Mango trees will benefit the most as their flowering and fruition will be greatly helped by the rain. Similarly, the boro paddy can be expected to have more and better yield by this natural irrigation.
