Reckless driving needs to be checked

Road crashes have turned out to be a common affair in Bangladesh. Despite taking several measures, we do not seem to have become successful in curbing tragic accidents and casualties. And one of the main reasons behind this is our inability to control vehicle speed. Nowadays we can see that drivers compete with one another on the road as if it were a racing track. In most cases, when a vehicle runs too fast, it often loses control and causes terrible accident.

The drivers should keep in mind if an accident takes place it will not only claim their lives but also others. The authorities concerned should adopt new technologies to curb vehicles' speed. One such step could be setting up a device on highways, which will find out the over-speeding vehicles and report to the law enforcers. We must remember that reckless driving causes more harm than any good.
