A few months ago, prices of wheat and flour rose sharply in the local market. And we also experienced price hike in of sugar and edible oil too. These are the basic ingredients of bakery products like bread and biscuits. With the increased prices of raw materials, the prices of bakery items have been hiked instantly. Recently, prices of all the basic ingredients of bakery products have been going down. But in the local market the prices of bread and biscuits have not shown any sign of decreasing.
I urge the authorities concerned to look into it so that the producers of bread and biscuits reduce prices of their commodities.
