Regular physical workouts

The city dwellers are hardly left with any time for physical workouts as a major portion of their time is spent on daily works in office or business and traffic congestion on the road. But if we sincerely try, we can mange some time for physical activities and we should do it. One does not have to attend a fancy gym to be fit and healthy. We can do free hand exercises at home which will save a lot of time and money. Physical workouts will enable us to lead a healthy life and keep us away from being a couch potato. Our wish is enough to bring positive change in our life.
If we have a healthy life through regular exercise, we can also encourage our family members to do so. Regular workouts increase our stamina and we shall be able to do a lot more things than usual. As a nation we are not very health-conscious and obesity is also increasing in our society at an alarming rate.  We lose a lot of working hours due to poor health and ultimately society suffers. I hope the educational institutions will adapt appropriate measures to raise awareness among students about the importance of physical workouts. Girls and women are particularly lagging behind in this respect and should be encouraged to devote sometime everyday for physical work outs so that they can lead a healthy life and thus help create a healthy society.
