Release of Indian pilot will de-escalate tension

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan deserves appreciation for releasing captured Indian pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman as a goodwill gesture. It will help thaw the tense situation between the two bitter rivals, India and Pakistan.
Any tension between India and Pakistan will hit hard the economy of this region. Pakistan has played its trump card wisely. Modi government is facing a dilemma as the Indian opposition is blaming him for blatant politicisation of the sacrifices made by the armed forces and the situation of Kashmir. The opposition also said that national security must transcend narrow political considerations.
The peace-loving people of this region are happy to see the gesture of Pakistan and hope that the Indian government will follow the same suit. Kashmir issues should be settled through dialogue. With force, no solution will be there. Afghanistan, Iraq and Myanmar are some examples.
India and Pakistan should fight together with their common enemy which is terrorism.
The 35th President of the USA John F Kennedy said that tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs. Rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others.
