Bangladesh today is moving forward on the path of development, and one of its greatest strengths is education and the practice of knowledge. For the progress of a nation, natural resources are important, but even more essential are the growth of human thought, consciousness, and creativity. That is why I always believe-
"A pen can awaken a nation, and a single thought can enlighten a generation."
In recent times, the interest in knowledge has somewhat increased in our society. Yet, alongside this growth, we have also witnessed the rise of consumerist thinking, self-centered attitudes, and moral decline. Education, if it becomes confined to merely earning certificates, cannot truly enlighten society. Real education becomes meaningful only when it guides human beings towards truth, justice, morality, and humanity.
Our students must not remain limited to textbooks alone. They must explore the multifaceted dimensions of knowledge. Scientific progress, technological advancement, the lessons of history, and the values of religion, all must be integrated if we wish to build a truly educated generation.
In today's era of globalisation, information technology has opened vast doors of opportunity before us. Yet, at the same time, it has also brought confusion, misconceptions, and cultural aggression.
To meet these challenges, we need integrated education and an awakening of thought. Not just curricular knowledge, but also moral practice, creative thinking, and research-oriented learning will carry our nation forward. My forthcoming book, "World of Knowledge", has been written with this very belief.
If we truly wish to build a developed Bangladesh, then we must adorn ourselves with the light of knowledge. Education must not be only for examinations-it must be for life itself.
If we can harness the power of the pen and of thought, then we will succeed in creating a moral, enlightened, and humane society.
