Repair Dharmapasha-Golokpur road

The road connecting Dharmapasha Upazila headquarters to Golokpur village in Sunamganj district has been in a severely dilapidated condition for a long time. Years of neglect have resulted in large potholes across the road, causing frequent accidents and immense suffering for daily commuters.

Hundreds of people - including school and college students, office-goers, and patients - depend on this route every day. Transporting sick patients and pregnant women has become particularly risky due to the road's poor condition. Moreover, this is the only direct communication link between Dharmapasha and Jamalganj upazilas.

The situation worsens during the rainy season, as the low-lying road becomes submerged by haor water, disrupting movement altogether. This road is also vital for transporting agricultural produce and daily essentials, making its condition a serious threat to both livelihoods and public safety.

The continued neglect is not only disrupting normal life in the region but also putting countless lives at risk. We therefore earnestly urge the authorities concerned to take immediate and effective measures to repair and upgrade this crucial road.
