Rest in peace, Robin Williams

It was sad to read about one of my favourite actors Robin William's sudden death and, as reports indicated, it was apparently a case of suicide.  Lately He was struggling to come out from the habit of alcohol and drugs. I first saw him in a TV serial "Mork and Mindy" on BTV during the early eighties. "Mork and Mindy" was a popular serial during that time and Robin Williams played the role of an alien who comes to earth from the planet Ork in a small egg-shaped spaceship. He was also very famous as a stand-up comedian and mesmerised his audiences for a long time.

He was equally successful in movie. I do not understand how a man, who was so adept to bring smiles on the face of his audiences, could be so lonely and sad in his personal life. With the death of Robin we understand that ever-smiling and ultra-successful stars can also be unhappy in their real life.  

The word of sympathy poured in when the news of his shocking death broke out. Robin made us laugh so many times and when I saw him I saw a jolly soul in him. I hope the soul of Robin Williams will find peace in the eternal Heaven, the peace which was elusive in his life on the earth.
