Return of 'kidnapped' teacher, journalist

THE kidnappers of North South University (NSU) teacher Mubashar Hasan Caesar released him after one and half month. He was missing since November 07 last. As members of the public we are happy and heaved a sigh of relief that Prof. Mubashar was set free alive by the kidnappers. But the reasons behind such kidnapping are still shrouded in mystery. Although the professor is reported to have said that the kidnappers were asking for money, very few would agree. The common people feel that the incident should be thoroughly investigated.
Journalist Utpal also came back home as his kidnappers freed him and his story was more or less same as those of other victims who managed to return home after their mysterious disappearance. The incidents of disappearance are increasing and people's trust in the government is eroding. It is therefore a collective demand of the common people that the law enforcers should be more active to unearth the secrets behind rising incidents of kidnapping.
