The World Cup Cricket -2015 is only three weeks away and the sports loving people of the world are waiting eagerly for the bonanza to start. People of our country are no exception. Although the tournament will be held far away in Australia and New Zealand, we shall be able to watch all matches on television. Sale of television sets will also shoot up dramatically. TV companies are making attractive offers for their customers. Soon the World Cup frenzy will grip the sports-loving world. The Bangladesh Cricket Control Board has declared the 15-member of world cup squad. Mashrafee Bin Mortaza has been picked up as captain and I am sure he will play his role duly. The national team has been selected on the basis of the recent performance of the players.
Expectations are high and all eyes are now following the team. I sincerely hope, the team will not succumb to the pressure and will play their natural game. Before the main tournament starts, Bangladesh will have to play two warm-up matches against Pakistan and Ireland on February 9 and 12 respectively. I hope the Tigers will start their tournament on a positive note.
