Safety and life security first

Any conscious citizen will be shocked to hear the remarks of the State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal that there is no need to be alarmed at the abduction and killing spree in Narayanganj. The common people want to see the real culprits involved in abduction and killing behind the bars. When dangerous criminals roam freely in the country and abduct and kill people at their sweet will, how can the common people remain cool?

The people are alarmed for the safety of their near and dear ones? Naraynganj has become a city of terror and many parents are afraid of sending their children to school. The people are in a suffocating situation. Why? Because the government has failed to control the law and order situation. Security is the first and foremost requirement of citizens. If they are not secured, how can they enjoy any other civic rights? We cannot expect good governance without accountability and transparency.
