Sagar Runi murder: Unsolved mystery

The tragic and much talked-about Sagar Runi murder case has remained in the dark alley of mystery as the law enforcing agencies failed to make any headway in this heinous crime though long two years have already elapsed. If such a high profile murder case remains unresolved, it will create a bad impact on the psyche of the common people. Sagar Runi murder case is a prime example of the government's failure to provide security for common people and curb crime.

Quite frequently we come across media reports indicating extra-judicial killing in the name of "crossfire". If the murder case like Sagar Runi remains unresolved how common people can feel safe in our country.  It is also heard that a powerful section of the ruling party does not want that the killers of Sagar Runy are unmasked. It testifies   that there remains some kind of conspiracy to save the criminals.  I hope the conscious citizens will create pressure on the government to bring the culprits to book and the mystery behind it solved for the sake of truth.
