Second Test of the Tigers
November 03, 2014 00:00:00
The Tigers are facing Zimbabwe from November 3 in the second Test and it will be a very important match for both the teams as they will be eager to bring positive results for their respective countries.
Bangladesh should not be complacent as they have won a Test after a gap of ten years. They had beaten the same opponent in Chittagong.
The Tigers have surely not been able to show consistency in their performances. They have started their series against Zimbabwe as a favourite as they have a good bowling attack and favourable home condition. Also the Tigers have support of the entire nation behind them. This is an additional strength for them.
The Tigers didn't win the first match convincingly and Zimbabwe will be eager to bounce back as they fell a little short of winning the first Test which was held in Dhaka.
A good opening partnership is very crucial for a cricket match as it reduces pressure on the middle-order batsmen and gives a scope for the bowlers to play aggressively.
I hope, the Tigers will display more positive cricket in the second Test match and secure the series.
