Services at passport office

The passport delivery slip issued by the Regional Passport Office, Agargaon, Dhaka indicated the probable delivery date 12th June'14 but I appeared there two weeks later apprehending probable delay in issuing passport. I deposited the delivery slip at the counter and continued to wait for the passport but I was disappointed. Having waited for four hours, I was asked to come the following day. Having deposited my delivery slip on the first day, I had no document to claim the passport.

During my long stay I enquired several times of the delivery counter officials and every time they asked to sit but there were not enough chairs. I could see thousands of passports lying on the floor waiting for delivery. I feel the passport stacking be done in digital way, and some student volunteers may be engaged on a daily basis for sorting. The delivery services are praise-worthy except mine and several others. However I got my passport on the third day and even then thanks to the authority.
