South Korea: A fine destination for manpower export
April 22, 2014 00:00:00
It is good news that the government is going to sign a new agreement with South Korea to send Bangladeshi workers there. South Korea is a lucrative destination for Bangladeshi workers. Both the countries share excellent bilateral relation. The Korean government encourages foreign students and is very generous in giving scholarships to Bangladeshi students. Bangladeshi students have gone there for higher education. More than 0.15 million Bangladeshis have been working in South Korea. With the new agreement, more Bangladeshi people will be able to work there. We thank the Bangladeshi government for taking such pragmatic and praiseworthy step and hope it will explore more foreign destinations where we can export our vibrant manpower and increase our foreign reserve.
