Stopping the blame game

Bangladesh, along with most other countries of the world, is trying to involve women in all spheres of national life. Many of the top positions in our country are occupied by women: prime minister, speaker of parliament, leader of the opposition in parliament, deputy leader in parliament, head of the largest opposition party etc.

But people are passing through a critical time of their life. Normally I do not move during hartal and even blockade. But I had to go to a few places in Dhaka on last Friday. A feeling of fear and insecurity gripped me while I was travelling by bus.

All parties should stop the blame game and bring back a congenial atmosphere for fair elections.
