Stopping tigers\\\' extinction

September 16, 2014 00:00:00

The number of tigers in the wild is decreasing alarmingly, and we need to come forward to save them. Or else, they will become extinct.

The total number of wild tigers in the world is at present 3000 to 4000, and by this number we understand that the tiger is an endangered species and soon we have to make sure that they are well protected.

A three-day conference is being held in Dhaka on ways how to save the tiger population in the world. Bangladesh has the third-highest tiger population after India and Malaysia. In this context, we have a role to play. Random habitat destruction and poaching are the reasons the number of the wild tigers is dwindling fast.

If we hasten extinction of animals, it will only bring misery to humans by disrupting biodiversity.
