Students suffer due to paper price hike

We the students are facing serious problem in continuing our academic activities due to recent increase in paper prices. As you are aware, students' life at public university dorms is often characterised by financial struggles, particularly as many students rely on tuition-based income sources. We have to actively participate in preparing daily class notes, worksheets, lab reports, and related materials.
It may surprise you to learn that the cost of photocopying one page has risen to Tk. 3 from Tk. 2 just a year ago. For a single notebook (300 pages), the expense has increased to Tk. 160 from Tk. 110 a few months ago. We hope the authorities will spare some thoughts about how such drastic changes in costs can significantly impact a student's life.
The government should take action against price hike and provide support to alleviate the students'suffering enabling them to pursue their academic endeavours and become worthy contributors to our nation's progress.
