Swift recovery of stolen motorcycle

Last week, in less than 12 hours, Dhaka Metropolitan Police recovered the stolen scooter of Shahnaz, a female Uber Moto biker.

Shahnaz had become famous for earning her bread and butter by providing rides through the international ride-sharing app. But on January 15, her scooter was stolen from Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka around 3:00pm. The police recovered the scooter from Raghunathpur in Narayanganj and handed it over to her by January 16. Police also caught the thief.

The police officials have done a brilliant job. I would like to thank the police force for such efficiency. The incident has proven that the police can find thieves and recover stolen items if they really focus and investigate the cases.

I hope that ordinary citizens will get similar help from the police when they go to the police station and lodge complaints about their stolen vehicles or any other crimes.
