The world moves on. Babies become teenagers, and teenagers become adults, a plain field turns into a construction site and in no time we see sky scrapers piercing the sky. According to Einstein, nothing travels faster than light. But the reality today speaks otherwise. All of us are so preoccupied with everyday life that we forget to look at life and admire its beauty.
The word of the day is sacrifice. We hear it all the time and all around us - in political meetings, in religious festivals and in poetry sessions. In all these cases, we think about it and try to understand its deeper meaning. We are not aware of the sacrifices being made by people around.
The 'sacrifice' I refer to here is the sacrifice made by women in all societies. How many of us ever thought about their mother's life? Every single mother in this world is prepared to do anything for their children. Even the working mothers find it hard to concentrate on their job when their children are sick at home. Should we not think their life is a sacrifice?
