Test of the Tigers!

Soon two cricket Test match series between Bangladesh and the West Indies will start and the cricket loving people of our country will closely follow the matches. The expectation of the people is not very high from the Tigers as their one-day performance was lower than they were actually capable of. The Tigers will surely play to secure a draw but in the fast and bouncy pitches of  the West Indies it may not be easy. They have to fight hard to secure even a draw. The pressure will be on the shoulder of the host country and the Tigers need to keep their cool and avoid any rash shot.  We often see our batsmen play bad shots and throw away their wickets.

Test matches are, in fact, a test of patience, character and perseverance.   Bangladesh is playing Test cricket after a long gap. If we want to improve in Tests, we have to play this longer version game quite often.

Cricket is the most popular sport in our country at present and during the match of the Tigers the cricket loving people remain glued to their TV sets and pray for the success of their favourite players. I hope the Tigers will bring for us something positive from this coming Test series.
