Tens of thousands of admission-seekers appear in the test for enrolment in the universities after their higher secondary degree and the ones who come out successful based on test marks and earlier performance, get chance. However, this year, things have become difficult since the education ministry has decided to show all candidates of HSC exams successful based on marks in previous public exams.
In such circumstances, the universities would need to consider carefully the results to ensure justice and entry of qualified students. Since the results of HSC exams would be based on earlier exams, universities should not count HSC marks. Instead, they should focus on admission test to judge the merit of the students.
