The Japanese friendly gesture

Japan has provided 12 more eco-friendly waste collection vehicles to our country. It will play a significant role in waste collection and in decreasing environmental pollution. Japan has given 122 waste collection vehicles to Bangladesh so far. It is indeed a praiseworthy gesture from our friendly development partner towards making our cities pollution free.
Dhaka is one of the most populous cities of the world and all of us need to make conscious efforts to improve the living standard of its people. Dhaka has a staggering population of approximately 15 million. We need to decentralise governance machinery and spread it all over the country so that the pressure on Dhaka decreases. Dhaka is the eighth largest city of the world.
Despite having so many drawbacks, Dhaka is my favourite city and I don't find so much liveliness in any other parts of the world. The old Dhaka was the Mughal capital of Bengal in the 17th century. We have seen, recently, our beloved Dhaka has been experiencing an influx of people from across the country making it one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the world. I hope the citizens of Dhaka will be more conscious about playing their due roles to make the city clean, beautiful and vibrant.
