The opposition leader Salahuddin Ahmed has been missing for more than a month and the law-enforcement agencies have so far failed to make any headway regarding the whereabouts of the gentleman. The family of Salahuddin Ahmed have been continuously accusing the law-enforcement agencies of abducting him. We do not see any noticeable effort on the part of the law enforcers to find him out. Mr. Salahuddin's wife has alleged that the law-enforcewment-agencies have a hand in this disappearance. We saw in the past that these agencies initially denied arresting some one who was later produced before the public. Whatever may be the facts behind Mr. Salahuddin's disappearance, I only hope that he will come back soon to his family and the children will get back their father. I also hope, the government will investigate into the matter.
