Charismatic leaders are passionate visionaries who inspire others through selflessness. They embrace life opportunities, believe in employees' potential, provide motivation and share their own talents. The term charismatic is derived from the ancient Greek word "Charis" denoting "grace" and implies that charismatic leaders and charismatic people are perceived as a graceful and attractive model of human beings. Charismatic leaders set high goals and communicate with confidence that they can be attained. And, they do all these with passion in their voice, on their face and around their body .Charismatic leaders who are high on ethical orientation have better workplace environments with reduced interpersonal and workplace deviance. All these all make sense because leaders are role models. The way they act flows through the organization. When leaders are charismatic, the profitability of organization tends to improve. .Furthermore, the attitudes and behaviour of the employees improve as well. They feel more committed to the organization and behave more cooperatively. And it is always fun to follow a charismatic leader, who can get the followers excited about a vision and the means to achieve it. At the organization, what a charismatic leader does is they create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for their followers by listening to them and making them feel that they have a role in decision making . A good example of a charismatic leader is Steve Jobs, the famous CEO of Apple Inc, who said, "My job is not to be easy on people. My job is to take these great people we have and to push them and make them even better." The success of Steve Jobs did not come alone, it was the people behind him, his followers who believed in him and his dream and his charisma.
