The problem with e-TIN
May 21, 2014 00:00:00
National Board of Revenue (NBR) continues to advertise regularly at the cost of taxpayers' money for obtaining Electronic Tax Identification Number (e-TIN) against old TIN. As an old income taxpayer since 1963, I failed to collect e-TIN through the Internet. I wonder why NBR does not issue e-TIN through their offices located all over the country. They may send the same to indvidual taxpayers through postal mail or courier services. As an alternative, advertisements in newspapers showing e-TIN against old TIN may be published. We urge the NBR to accept these ideas and relieve taxpayers' anxiety.
