Thinking positive should be our mantra

March 21, 2018 00:00:00

THE anecdote that a vessel which is half empty is also half full- is well known. Although apparently simple, it offers a lot to ponder over. Most importantly, the anecdote teaches us to take a positive stance in life.

Most of the people we meet in our day-to-day life are people with a negative attitude towards life. They complain about almost everything and refuse to see any positive aspects. They seem to overlook simple pleasures of life and look at the world from behind dark glasses of pessimism.

When we fail to enjoy and appreciate simple things of life, life loses much of its meaning. We see around us people squabbling on petty or trifling matters which could be easily overlooked or avoided with a simple smile. We must understand that pessimism is like a flat tire, which does not let us reach our destination. We must hold a positive attitude towards life.
