Three soldiers killed in Philippine

MANILA, Feb 27: Unidentified gunmen attacked a group of Philippine soldiers on a humanitarian mission at the weekend, killing three and wounding four, the military said Sunday. The troops were on their way to a remote village recently hit by a storm in the northern province of Ifugao when they were attacked Saturday, regional military spokesman Colonel Miguel Puyao told reporters. - AFP
