Tigers whitewash Zimbabwe in ODI series

During the third and final One Day International (ODI) match between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in Chattogram on October 26, 2018, Bangladeshi batsmen Imrul Kayes and Soumya Sarker sealed the victory for the home team. In the process, the Tigers recorded yet another whitewash against Zimbabweans.
Both the home team players scored centuries as Bangladesh made its way to the challenging target of 287 runs. The hosts ultimately won the match with 47 deliveries still in hand. The series was especially important for Bangladesh as they were playing without their key players like Shakib and Tamim. Still, all the team members contributed towards victory.
As for cricket fans, this match was an absolute treat to watch. Sean Williams' unbeaten 129 off 143 balls helped Zimbabweans post a challenging total of 286 runs. Bangladesh later chased the score magnificently. The audience at the stadium got to witness three centuries made by three prolific batsmen from both sides.
Now, it will be interesting to watch how the Tigers fare in the two Test matches against visitors. I believe Test matches in cricket test the tenacity of a cricketer's character. The ODI mentality needs to be discarded during Tests.
I would like to congratulate Bangladesh cricketers for their victory in the ODI series and wish them the very best for the Tests.
