Training course for teachers

Digital technologies have now become a crucial part of teaching. Therefore, in many countries, teachers are now provided with additional training on the use of digital devices in classroom. Unfortunately, Bangladesh is still lagging in training and facilitating teachers. Due to this, our education system continues to suffer because teachers are unable to fulfil their jobs adequately. Considering that teachers play an important role in imparting knowledge and skills, we need to introduce teacher education services and other training courses.

Besides reforming the curriculum, teachers should be informed of new methodologies such as cooperative learning, project-based learning, etc. Modern concepts such as the use of computers must also be incorporated into teaching. The authorities concerned should realise that teachers' skills have a significant impact on the development of students. Therefore, they should work with educational institutions to launch training programmes for teachers. Universities should also introduce training courses for individuals who want to pursue teaching as a career. These measures are crucial for improving the quality of education in the country.
